If you live in the Midwest like me, you probably had a pretty gloomy day. However this weather was also amazing for adventuring. Practically no one was outside as my friend and I rode our bikes throughout the city of Indianapolis. We visited the cutest places such as the canal and circle. My favorite stop was an impromptu trip to Midland Antique’s Mall. With practically no directions, we rode through the streets of eastern Indy, admiring the adorable architecture. We finally found our way to the mall, whose interior is warm and inviting, providing a nice contrast to the chilly weather outside. The mall consists of two levels and is filled to the brim with oddities and knick-knacks. Soft music and creaky floorboards, along with the quiet murmur of nearby shoppers, created an atmosphere completely perfect for this rainy day. While we didn’t buy anything, we had a fun time taking pictures and admiring the interesting objects. I’d definitely say the excursion was a success.
